1967 Chevrolet Nova Wagon — Tastefully Resto Mod

This very nice 1967 Chevrolet Nova Wagon is a beautifully executed blend of classic style, tasteful custom touches, and modern drivability. Finished in an eye-catching metallic silver with a contrasting silver/dark gray roof, the car presents extremely well and has a clean, confident stance that immediately sets it apart.

Power comes from a Chevrolet ZZ4 crate engine topped with a four-barrel carburetor and breathing through headers and a true dual exhaust system, delivering strong performance and a great sound. A 4L60 four-speed automatic transmission provides smooth shifting and relaxed highway cruising, while the serpentine front drive and power steering make this Nova easy and enjoyable to drive in any situation.

The suspension features coil springs front and rear and has been lowered just enough to give the wagon a sporty, well-proportioned look without compromising comfort. Braking is handled by power front disc brakes with rear drums, offering confident stopping power. The car rides on classic Rally wheels with chrome caps and trim rings, wrapped in 215/70R14 tires up front and 225/70R14 tires in the rear for a slightly staggered, period-correct appearance.

The exterior is highlighted by very nice paint, excellent chrome and trim, and a subtle custom touch in the form of Chrysler Imperial flip-out door handles. All of the glass is in excellent condition and is true smoked glass rather than aftermarket film, adding to the car’s refined appearance.

Inside, the Nova features a very nice black interior with a front bench seat and a rear flip-down seat, making it both comfortable and practical. A three-spoke steering wheel, seatbelts, and a dark gray headliner complement the interior nicely. Modern conveniences include air conditioning, a retro-style radio, and under-dash auxiliary gauges, all thoughtfully integrated to maintain a classic look while improving drivability.

Today, it stands as a well-sorted and attractive restomod wagon that combines vintage charm, practical usability, and strong performance in a package that’s increasingly hard to find.
